Hey everyone, New guy here with a few airbag questions. I came across an 03 CVPI today with 295k on it. First it was a Chicago squad car then was a taxi. I bought it for 850.00 to turn into a "spectator" demolition derby car. The only problem is that the airbags must be removed. Im 18 and know enough about cars (the simple things at least) but have never even thought of messing with the airbags. All I really know is the battery must be disconnected. any help would be great. Thanks!

The battery has to be disconnected for at least 1 min. There are some that had airbags in the front seat backs. There's a lot to do to be safe. Get a book and follow the instructions. I'm not sure if the haynes manual would help. Try your local library.
