I have a 07 Crown Vic - The wipers will not shut off when I put the switch in the off position. Any ideas? I pulled fuse # 110 out so they are not running all the time but I have to get this fixed ASAP. Any help would be appreciated.

What speed does it run at? Can you change the speed with the switch?

thats a good question, I do not know. They are wiping at about mid speed. I was in a hurry to get back to work and was pissed that on a sunny day my wipers wouldnt quit. I will have to check that out. Also, the washer squirts fluid automatically so it makes me think the switch is bad.

Low speed and washers definitely sounds like the switch. Keep us posted.

since it had two issues I was confident it was the multifunction switch. Just swapped it out with a new one from Ford - $ 101.00. Problem fixed. Thanks for the help.

Well I guess I was wrong on half of my theory of the switch being bad. Out of no where today the wipers started coming back on intermitantly then going off with the wiper switch set on off. So is it the new Ford switch or possbily the wiper motor ? I thought where I read where their is a moduel that controls the wipers on the motor?

The module on the 2003 and up is part of the wiper motor. The switch may not have been the problem. When they're intermittant like that, it's hard to pinpoint what it is.

The washers are not squriting automatically anymore so the switch must have corrected that problem. Guss I will have to see what the motor cost is and upchuck more dough for that. Kinda bummed now,

forgot to reply on the fix - I swapped the motor out too, now its all fixed. Thank god.
