all seriousness....i have really liked the marauders since they came out but i didnt have the funds 2 get 1...so i got a 1999 MERCURY GM..... i wanted 2 know if i could convert it 2 look like a marauder....but what would i need 2 do 2 make that a complete job.....just as far as looks because my motor work is already in the process of being complete......

As far as I know, the biggest exterior differences between a GM and a Marauder are the grille, the taillights, the wheels, the rear bumper cover, and a little less chrome here and there. Not sure what other differences there might be, but do that stuff, paint it black (since that's what the majority of 'em were anyway), and you'll fool an awful lot of people.

You said your engine work is "already in the process of being complete". Does that mean you've swapped in a DOHC 4.6? If so, kudos...that ain't easy.

Front bumper as well. The bumpers are very expensive, ranging in the $1000+ each, then add cost of painting as well.

You would be much cheaper had you gone and bought the Marauder strait up, and would probably still be able to get it with some kind of warranty. Everything you do to the GM is going to void warranties.

Right, ain't easy!
it'll take months and requires big money, ford bumpers and other parts are not that cheap, you know......maybe it would be better to buy a new one.
