hello i did one on a 78 fairmont is this job similar for the crown vic?my big question is does the dash have to be remove to get out the plenum,to get the core out ?I have the shop manual, any other tips?
yes, you have to drop the steering column, take the dash loose and pull it forward on the passenger side to get the plenum out.
it's not difficult, but can be tedious and frustrating at times.
