Well finally got a T5 trans out of a 1991 stang along with the clutch pedals, and cable...the tranny is out of a 4 cyl...i saved the driveshaft for the yoke...now im wondering is there any difference between the 4cyl and 5.0 trans other than the bellhousing and clutch fork, and also someone told me that the input shafts are different and ill have to use a 9inch clutch but im not sure the guy knew what he was talking about...being that he drove a chevy...anyway any help would be greatly apreciated...

A 4 cylinder tranny is not as strong as its 8 cylinder counterpart. Also, it has a ridiculously low first gear--I can tell you from first hand experience that with that transmission in first gear and 3.73 rear end, 5000 RPM is about 25 mph.

ive got the posi unit with 3.55s im gonna be putting in after the trans swap...but i am still looking for a trans out of a v8 car i just cant wait any longer the 4 cyl tranny will do for now....
