Not a hard job at all. You will need to remove the cluster trim, but you should be able to get the cluster clear plastic cover off without removing the cluster itself. Top screws are tight to get into but I was able to do it last year. If you have to remove the cluster it still isn't a hard job. You will need Torx screw driver set. and the odometer piece pops out with a small screwdriver. Be careful you don't break the tabs that hold the main gear in place. Like jsuthers replyed get the gears from site he pointed you to.
