Question 1996 cvpi engine & tranny swap.

Just looking for some opinions for now. I have a 1996 cvpi with a bad motor & tranny. Not a lot of those in the salvage yards around here. But I did run across a 1993 with over 200,000 miles on it. I know the guy who sold it to the yard, & he said that it ran & shifted just fine, just the steering box had gone bad. I just don't like the idea of putting such a high mileage unit into a car that has just 100,000 miles on it. But the price is right & I want to get it going again. So if I go this route, the engine & tranny should fit fine except that I would need to use the drive shaft from the donor car. But what about wiring harnesses, computers etc.? Other issues? Or would this swap wind up being more work than it is worth? Any comments & opinions would be appreciated! Thanks
