I need help with this. I tried to insure this thru Ford Auto Insurance and they refused to insure. I asked them how come. Said it was 1 of 70 Police Interceptor Explorers built in 1995,1996.1997. High output engine, to much liability. Anyway I know this isn't the right forum but, how do I know what they are telling me is true. Is there any code in the vin that would indicate this is an interceptor? Also, Trucking Magazine wants to do a article on it, says it is 1 of 3 remaining. I'm hoping someone in the forum can help or put me into contact with someone who can verify that this is a true Interceptor. Terry
