Hi im having trouble shutting my door it will only close if i lift up the door and close it from the outside. My mom talked to a mech at the gas station he wants 300 to fix the problem. I dont think the door is off, it was working fine before i would just have to nug it a little and it would close fine. Now though its so bad i can't even close it from the inside.


I think it is the parts that lock the door in place in the door jam when it closes the knob thing and the part that it lock into seem to be having trouble connecting now but i have no clue what these parts are called or the part numbers. i would like to know how much these parts are before i got spend 300 to get it fixed ya know. any input?

It could be the hinge pins are worn When the door is open, lift the door and see if you get movement. If it does, the pins are worn and you can get a kit from the parts store to replace them.
