I have a 2000 GM LS that has the standard single exhaust, and I assume the most economical axle given the nearly 30 mpg on a long trip. Here's the concern...I have a 2800lb. boat, that I tow locally. I've installed the cargo coil rear springs, an 8 row trans. cooler, and would like to tow around 700 miles up to a lake in the north of New York. Do I need to look for an alternative tow vehicle?
I wouldn't sweat it too much...what does the owner's manual say about towing in overdrive, though?
