Can't seem to find any info on the alarm on my 2000 GS. I guess the GM didn't have an Alarm option, so it must be aftermarket, but it uses the stock key fob.

Did GM have a factory alarm available? Anybody with an alarm that might know where to find info and instructions for it?

Using the FCC ID off the back of the remote, I found this info:

This remote is associated with an aftermarket Code Alarm system used as a dealer installed system by Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln dealers. It was used on vehicles that did not have the factory installed system but the vehicle was ordered with keyless entry. It was also sometimes used to add an alarm to the keyless entry system.

Does anybody recognize this or maybe have an idea where to find operating instructions? I'll post them if I find them, but any help is appreciated.

I dont recall that specific remote but I definitely do remember there being dealer installed Security systems sold as Ford/L-M Accessories. Seems correct to me.
