The overly fast turn signals are probably either due to a bad flasher or bad flasher connection. The flasher is a round aluminum piece in the fusebox. Pull that out and check the terminals for corrosion. If you find any, clean that off and reinstall it and see if that solves your problem. If not, pull a flasher out of another car (they're pretty much a universal item) and put it in to see if that takes care of it. If it works normally, just go to the auto parts store and buy a new one. Should be around 5 bucks or so.
