Wife just bought this car. The brake lights don't work but the third brake light up in the back window does. also the turn signals blink really fast not at normal speeds. The person before had some sort of wiring devise in it for towing a trailer. also how do you get to the light bulbs to check the bulbs thank ahead for any help

Bulbs should be accessed from in the trunk. Definately check the bulbs and the socket they go into. Check connections at trailer wiring harness and check grounds.

The overly fast turn signals are probably either due to a bad flasher or bad flasher connection. The flasher is a round aluminum piece in the fusebox. Pull that out and check the terminals for corrosion. If you find any, clean that off and reinstall it and see if that solves your problem. If not, pull a flasher out of another car (they're pretty much a universal item) and put it in to see if that takes care of it. If it works normally, just go to the auto parts store and buy a new one. Should be around 5 bucks or so.
