I'm confused.
If this is EATC controller (digital) - there is no blend motor. It is controlled by vacuum.

The blend door is controled by a motor. Even on manual systems. The other flaps are controlled by vacuum.

On a manual system - for sure. And there is a little gear wheel in the blend motor that looses the gears and motor is stopped open-close blend door.
On a system with EATC controller - doors are operated by vacuum, provided from EATC itself.

Here's the wiring diagram for an EATC system blend door. You'll see the blend door in the circuit.
