Hello,

As you may know, I currently have a 94' Crown Vic. Tomorrow I will be getting myself a 2001 Mercury Marquis. It is completely stock. The paint is silver.

I didn't get to do many Mods with my crown vic, so I don't know much about what I can do.

What I intend on doing is:

-Tint All Windows
-Clear Front Turn Signal Markers
-Rims: Black with chrome Center cap and Lip
-Black Out tail lights
-New Front grille

Could you guys explain how to clear out the turn signals? Also, what rims would you recommend from my description above. And would you go with a custom chrome grille, or go all black?

I am sure the performance mods are limitless. What low priced mods would you recommend for the engine. Would you get a new Intake, Exhaust, etc?

K+N filter,When I had a 93GM with single exhaust I went to a Ford dealer and bought all the pipes for a P71 ( police intercepter ) exhaust and then ordered 2 50 series non-delta flow Flowmasters for it. It sounds great to this day.Put it on in 99 and now my Dads wife drives it. You can get alot more ideas at crownvic.net.

All good advice except that we've had problems with the MAF from the oil on the K&N filters.

If the K+N is over oiled maybe,I ran a drop in on the 93 for 5 years with no problems and on a 97 P71 for a year with no problems either.
