Hello all.

I have a 2001 Crown Vic LX. It has traction control, auto-leveling air adjustable shocks, dual exhaust, center console/shift, 5-spoke alloy wheels, leather power seats, factory aluminum performance heads (the sport package and the performance and handling package). For all intent and purpose, it seems it is a Crown Vic LX Sport, although Ford didn't produce these until 2002.

Can anyone tell me where I might find production numbers, or, where I can find the codes on my car for what the factory installed options were and what the codes mean? (or just give me a link/point me in the right direction)?

I see people saying only XX of my car with 'such and such' options were produced - that is what I am trying to figure out for my car.

Also, I have not been able to find another 2001 CV LX with the same configuration, nor any reference to such. Is it merely a fact that it is a CV LX and has the sport appearance or other sport package/option available through Ford (that is my guess, though I can't find an option package that mentions floor shift/console)?

I don't think you'll have much luck finding the info you seek. But I do know that the '01 did not technically have a "Sport" model. You could get the car you speak of, but it was an LX with a "Sport Appearance Package" (SAP). The '02 was the 1st year that Ford offered the "LX Sport" as a model in its lineup.
