They are hard to remove. The crossbolts pulls the metal in and squeezes it in place. You have to pry it out and before reinstalling it, I hammer the space wider. Also use some antisieze on the sides of the crossmember before installing it. That makes it go in easier.

Cool thanks, And I was thinking of that, but was considering the integrity of the framke pocket, and didnt want to have the transmission sitting on a bent crossmember causing a miss alignment of the drive shaft, and transmission.
