Hello,

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I own a 2003 Crown Vic P71 with 43,000 miles. It started last week stalling at a high speed 70-80mph. The Check engine light would flash....followed by the battery light and then the speedo would go to zero (it was down shifting automatically as well). After replacing the ECM Diode problem was gone for a day. It came back in a different form. Now same thing happens when only making a left turn. Someone suggested it may have something to do with the Evap Purge System ?

Can anyone offer any advice.....please ! Ive gone through the whole harness and cleaned all connectors as well as checked for an exposed wire. It's still killing the ECM for a millisecond. Speedo drops....battery light comes on.....check engine light.....does not retain or store a code. And restarts immediately in nuetral.
It started something new.....now while barely rolling, steering wheel locked to left it now dies....and when normally put in nuetral it would restart...now the battery lamp stays slightly lit....the volt gauge shows a substantial draw....still in normal range.....lights and everything dims slightly as well.

Help !!!!!!
