The driver's door speaker on my GM periodically cuts out. Additionally, the lights on the window controls on the door armrest also periodically cut out. Seems to me that there is a loose connnection someplace in there.

I looked at the door armrest. I don't quite know how to take the top piece off to look inside. Any suggestions?

To remove the switches, pry up on the front of the switch bezel and lift up. Then pull forward on the bezel. Here's a link to information and pictures to remove the complete door panel. dRock96Marquis' 03+ CV/GM/MM Front Door Panel removal page

Since more than 1 item is having a problem, it's possible that it's in the door jam area. Where the wires flex when opening and closing the door. It's not an area that we've come across but it may have been in a wreck before you got it and the wires were damaged.

Took it apart. Couldn't find anything loose. Guess I will let the professionals look at it.
