I just got an '06 Grand Marquis to replace my '01 Town Car that got flooded by Sandy. When I put the lights on at night, only the two AC buttons, the temp up and down and the outside temp buttons light up. None of the other buttons light up.

This isn't normal, is it? The previous owner said he replaced the entire EATC unit last year so I'd doubt the bulbs already burnt out. What could be the problem? Any ideas? Are there any fuses that are only for SOME of the buttons?

I'd be looking for a miswiring, unfortunately, I don't have a schematic at the moment to look for a commonality.

It is not normal for only some of the buttons to light. I have had my EATC apart to replace the "O" rings. It is not difficult to remove and disassemble is straightforward. I didn't pay particular attention to the wiring, and my wiring schematic C/D will not work, but I only recall one power wire to the unit.
