Hey , the last cople of weeks my crown vic , with the 302 with 170,000 started tapping only to get worse to the point its barley drivable ! it has a miss and is running rough , and burning oil through the exhaust. its sounds like a rocker broke or something , any ideas ??

If it's smoking, it must be worse than a rocker or valve. You need to do a compression check to see where the problem is.

It's sounding like a split piston or more likely a dropped valve! If it's been revved high at all it could be either.

I really hope its not a split piston ! lol , In the case of a dropped Valve , how serious of a repair would i be getting in to ?

Adropped valve will fall into the piston and you're more than likely looking at the same repair.
