Question 5.0 Mpfi

[B]At a swap meet I picked up a 1987 5.0 MPFI (multi Port Fuel Injection I believe). I got it for my 1985 LTD CV cause it came of a 1987 LTD CV. I paid $85, came with all the fixings, wires, injectors, computer, and even fuse bock and lights. I thought it was a steal at that price. Then I get told its not going to work for what I wanted to do. I'm told I want a 1989 - 1992 5.0 MPFI system cause every thing if adjustable. Well I also got a 1994 full MPFI system off a 1994 T-bird. My 302 in my 85 LTD CV has extrem power and is not stock in any way (even the valve cover bolts are hardend :)). The 87 MPFI is for stock only. I was wondering if it would be worth trying to convert a 87 MPFI into a 1994 MPFI by combining the both (ya I know pretty stupid but I dont have the cash to wave around and I want to have some thing more pride full them a slap on MPFI). I have the plans running through my head as I type. I can use the computer off the 94 and mill a peice for the throttle sensor to work on the 87 carb and the mafs on a custom cowl with a k&n on the end. the 1994 is adjustable. No wait, I got it! The 85 has a EFI system thats adjustable and is more easy to intergrade into the 87 turn style. Yes, the sleep pills are kicking in. Good night. I'm going to start on it tomorrow after school, I got half day so that mean I got hours to wast on this. Laterz
