Ian86s Probes Rock Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Columbus, Ohio Age: 22 Posts: 7	88 Grand Marquis I have a 88 mercury grand marquis with a 302 and the tranny is bad... I was going to just replace it with another auto from the junk yard, but I was wondering.... Would a 5 speed transmission from a 88 mustang with a 302 fit?? I know I would have to cut a hole in the floor and get a cluch pedal, but is the tranny shorter than the auto, because then i would need a new drive shaft and that would foil my plans
