Just trying to find out what peeps are using to add a swaybar to the rear on my Crown Vic.

Do you have any junkyards near you that have some of the older stuff around? Look for a swaybar from a Crown Vic police interceptor, or from a station wagon. A very few of the civilian sedan models got rear bars too, but they're tiny (~1/2 inch), so if you happen to run across one of those, don't bother--they're practically useless. If you can find one on a PI, that's best; might as well grab the front bar too as it's larger than the stock one on your car. The wagon front and rear bars are good too, but they aren't quite as large as the PI bars, so they'll be slightly less effective. Good luck!

I have a 1989 Mercury Grand marquis wagon made jan 89 and I do not have a rear sway bar. I would not mide to get one too.

I would like to put one of those on the rear of my 2005 CV. I have a front sway bar. I was under the impression the front ones are all the same size. I guess I was wrong...

I'm not sure on the '03+ cars--those might be the same size...you could always grab a ruler and sneak underneath the front of a parked cop car...

CANNOT FIND A SWAY BAR FOR THE LIFE OF ME!!!!!!!!

I have looked for the past 3 or 4 months off and on for a PI set of Sways for my CV. Does anyone have a hookup? Any advise on who I can call?

Anyway, if you head on over to Grandmarq.net (seems to be down this morning for some reason, but it should be up and running again real soon) and talk to one of our members there named Lincolnmania, I'm sure he can come up with something for you. I know he had a set of front and rear sway bars for a CVPI in stock; I'm not sure if he sold them or not, but he should be able to find more of 'em if he did.
