I have a 90 Crown Victoria that I love to drive! I recently relocated to the mountains, yes, I know...it is a bi*** on gas!!
Anyway, as I cruise up the mountain, the car will suddenly start to "sputter" and eventually just die. I have to make sure I am near a turn-out before it dies! I will need to let the car sit for about 15 minutes before I can take-off again. My temp guage doesn't show it being "too hot", just a little past midpoint on the temp guage, and I recently changed the thermostat and flushed (stuck the hose down the radiator and ran it for like 15 mins) the cooling system before added coolant.

Any ideas?

Replace your fuel filter...

Also, remove your TFI module (the thing on the side of the distributor) and take it to an Advance Auto Parts to get it checked....

I will definetly try those things...just curious, how will changing the fuel filter help? My problem is only ascending the mountain, not in town, so wouldn't my problem be consistent everywhere?

You would be suprised... I have found that a problem on hills is sometimes the subject of a fuel filter.

Its probably about time to replace it anyways...
