Hey guys , im a proud owner of a 90 crown vic , and just recently i noticed my odometer stopped working ! the trip meter still workes and so does the spedo. could this be the gears in the odometer getting stripped ? what could this be ? thanks for any input.

I Managed to get the whole gauge cluster out , but to get at the odometer i have to pull the plate off with the numbers off. How do i get the little needles off with out breaking them ? i know they are brittle
