it has a 5.0 engine it is actually my nieces car she came over and went to leave and it wouldnt start im pretty handy so i been checking it out for her as i know she cant afford a shop i replaced the fuel filter and pump but it still is not getting gas to the filter it has good spark from the coil all the way to the plugs im about at my wits end on this can you please help

Oh, and welcome to the forum - although I likely won't be around much anymore as I sold my Crown Vic a couple of months ago. While I have plenty of automtovie experience, most of my specific Crown Vic knowledge pertains to the Vics of the 80s. Since most of you guys own the newer Crown Vics (1992 and newer), I've felt the Crown Vic knowledge I have is of limited use, and I've stayed away. :-)

Sounds like you are not getting power to pump, check inertia switch at left hand side of trunk. Here is an electrical diagram, you can check for power at pump while trying to start the car. Possible fuel pump relay problem. If I can help more let me know. Good luck, Stuart Bishop
