Hey guys. This is my first post over here. I'm a Ford guy (I've owned 3 T-Birds in my life), though the reason for my post is for my dad. He has limited internet access and experienced a problem today...

He has a 1991 Crown Vic (5.0), and on his way home, the "Brake" dash light came on and he lost most of the electrical system (the turn signals wouldn't work, windows wouldn't roll down, etc.). He pulled over and popped the hood, and seeing nothing wrong, he pushed on the EEG electrical relay and EEG electrical diode. He re-started the car and everything worked fine, and continues to work fine.

He's curious as to whether this is just an isolated incident or a more commonly-known-about problem that he should have seen about.


Any advice/info will be greatly appreciated!
