is there, and if there is one in the car, were is it located? i found a plug that looks like it would hold the spout conector, it's near the test conector on the drivers side front wheel well, thanks for any input on this.
that one jumps the fuel pump or alters the timing curve. I forget which. Why are you looking may I ask. I will try to find out which that spout does. need to find a old manual. I will post back when I do.
You beat me to it 88grandmarg. Thats was what I was going to try and confirm. we must have been typing at the same time.
fuel pump test port is on the drivers inner fender.
I forget exactly where the Octane spout is on the Panther chassis cars, I want to say its in the harness over near the blower motor, but not 100% positive on that.
just to reference, i have a ford SHO, and it has a two spout conectors on it's harness and the timing is not adjustable on it either, just kinda concerned, i will get some pic's of it up later today so you guys can see exaclty what it is i am talking about, i don't want to short it just in case it is something that shouldn't be shorted. i know alot about SHO's, but not to much about the CV. i've made my home now a Ford only home lol.
like I have posted twice now..... its a test port for the fuel pump.
shorting the 2 wires together (installing a spout plug) will by-pass the fuel pump relay and cause the fuel pump to run all the time.
88grandmarq-ok bud, thanks, i just wanted to be certain, my ford SHO has two of these, but they have the spout conecter installed, just wanted to be absolutly positive, thanks again for the help 88grand.
