92 cv brakes????front suspension
Well, i bought a 92 crown vic at an auction. I fixed most of the problems...but one still has me stumped. For some reason, at slow speeds when stopping, the car kinda applies the brakes, then stops, like a bouncing back and fourth feeling. At high speeds the vic when i apply the brakes, it shudders alot worse. I checked the pads, nothing seemed majorly wrong, pulled everything apart, cleaned up the rotors, and put it all back together. The calipers seem like they are loose on the rotors, but i cant figure out why. The caliper bolts seem to be tightening just fine, and it still shakes back and fourth. Theres a little wobble from front to back looking at the caliper from the side. Just trying to get an idea on what it could be. It's got me stumped. It's just like a brake pulsing when i apply the brakes. So if anyone knows where i should start, maybe calipers/rotors/pads, or it may be, but i dont think it is suspension problems. so any help would be appreciated, even an idea where to start out right now...thanks
