94 front end swap

I was just wandering if you can take the front end off of a 98 CV and put it on a 94? If so what all parts would I need to find or modify. Sorry if this has already been discussed. Thanks for any help.

Re: 94 front end swap

The front fenders are the same. If you want it to look like a newer one and everything is good on your 94, you'd need the front headlights, bumper, parking lights, front header panel and hood. Then maybe some wiring modification.

How are the fenders the same when the headlights on the new ones are taller than the ones on my 94? Would I just cut out the excess off of mine or get new ones?

Re: 94 front end swap

The bumper makes up the difference. The header panel behind is different to handle the different size headlights. Nothing to cut from the fenders.

Re: 94 front end swap

Oh okay. I see that now. Thanks a lot for your input. Hopefully I will have pictures up by next month if I can find all the parts at a reasonable price.

I forgot to ask, but would the doors also swap out fine? I'm going to be painting it and I really don't want to have to have the hassle of painting the inside of the doors. Thanks again.
