1996 Grand Marquis. While driving around town, the abs starts to kick in on braking at 'random' times. It occurs in wet/dry/cold/warm temps and is not uncommon on a dry mild day under light braking.

I can feel some movement in the brake pedal while braking and hear it working as well as feel the cars response. The problem does seem to be more prevalent on uneven surfaces and inclines (driveways).

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I found a TSB that describes my problem pretty closely. Is there any way to get the full version of the TSB without paying $25.

Take it to a local dealer. They have the TSB's on file but rarely to people know about them unless it's a major safety related issue. If your car falls under the TSB the dealer should repair the vehicle at no or little cost to you and you won't have to pay the $25 just to see if your vehicle is covered.
