Does any one know how much will it cost for me to get my AC working again.
I have a 1975 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS 8 Cylinders 460 A 7.5L 4BL

How mush does the AC Compressor cost, and the cost to replace the Coolant in the tank. Thanks

You can probably pick up a good used compressor for less than $100. The price of the coolant is up to the shop you go to.

The compressor was locked up in mine, so I converted it to R134A. Replaced compressor, accumulator, orfice tube, lines and flushed the evaporator and condensor. Parts were about $ 350-400(all new).
