I have a 98 crown vic with the EATC system. I finally got all the bugs worked out of this car as far as it now runs great and the ac is coming on when its supposed to. BUT, the air will not come out of the dash vents. Just the floor. It looks like some one else has already had this apart so I am afraid of what I am going to find. Is there some thing I should check before I start pulling this dash apart? Thanks.

Check for a vacuum leak, normally under the hood. There's a check valve and reservoir besides the lines there. Under the dash are more lines and valves. If you had it apart inside, a line could have been knocked off.

While looking umder the dash I see 3 vacume controlled actuators and they all three move when you change settings. Can I still have a vacume leak?

No, if they move you must have good vacuum. When they move, doesn't the air change direction? That's what they're supposed to do. They turn the flaps to direct the flow of air.

If all my duct work(mainly the box that holds all the flaps) is bad. Is there any one that has a good one so I could just do a swap out instead of trying to see what went bad in mine. That way the repair time would be shorter just replacing mine. Thanks.
