Hi. I have 1993 Crown Victoria LX. From time to time the ABS light comes on, stays there until I turn the ignition off. Then when I turn it back on I don't see it for a while, then it would come back again. It doesn't happen in some specific order, just randomly. When it stays on the ABS doesn't work. And it works when the light isn't there. Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

it may be tell ya to have the codes check i would get it look at its your brakes and your life

It is probley one of the sensors on the wheels. But go to autozone and they can pull codes for you then post them back here. But do not worry about it because if the light stays on you will still have brakes just not the ABS feature of your brakes. And all the ABS feature is when you lock up the brakes you can still turn the car to the left and right, with out that feature if you lock up the brakes you will skid stright and wont be able to turn left or right while wheels are locked up until you left off the brakes a little.
