I seem to be getting tranny vibrations around 55-60 mph. I do not think it is suspension or wheel balance cause it would get worse the faster i went. car is a 2002 Grand marquis w/ 51k. Any help appreciated.

It could still be in the wheel balance. The idea that it would get worse when getting faster is not always the true. Have the tires balanced first and then go on to the other possibilities,which is the tranny(which will always get worse when accelerating)and the drive shaft out of balance which will get worse when getting faster

55-60 is overdrive, some times if the motor isn't running good the dropped rpms in overdrive will cause shuutering until you raise the rpms, you may want to replace the O2 sensors and Throttle Position Sensor. But before shooting all the money towadrds the wind, do as ryoder mentioned. I'll goimg to see if I can find this web site, they sold real good sensors for great prices (blew autozone out of the water).
