i just bought a 99 Merc Marqui and the electric drivers window goes down very slowly and sometimes stops. So I assume the electric window motor is weak. Anyone know the cost of having a new one in? or any other suggestions.

If it wasn't the drivers window I would just cement up in place like I did with a merc a long time ago. But I need the drivers window to open.

the window motor is around $40 to $60 dollars for most cars.its held on by three bolts.take the panel off the door and support the window up to take off pressure on the motor while changing it.
