So this morning on my way to school I clicked the A/C on and a weird almost grinding noise and puff of white smoke came from what I assume to be the condenser on the back of the firewall, passenger side. I have had issues with the compressor cycling on and off so I refilled it and now its worse. What do you guys think it is? Clutch seizing or is it time for a new condenser?

It's the evaporator that's at the firewall. When you say "you refilled it" has me concerned. What most people don't understand it, more freon does not mean colder air, its just the opposite. I suggest taking it in and have a professional diagnose it and see whats going on.
