My Car Stutters and Blinking Check Engine Light.

I have replaced the Coils.

I got P0181 as a check engine light code.

It was doing to before and when i changed the valve cover gaskets she was running good for 1500 miles before she acted with at shake at 41mph. When it sutters a lot i stop at a gas station and i shade the coils and the injectors a tad and it drive "kinda fine" for another 100 miles.

MAGF?

If i haul butt at 70 mph its not really that bad. If turn the a/c on its doesnt like it. This is why i think it might be fuel.

I think it might be a bad fuel injector but i don't want to replace all 8. I was going to get one of those stethoscope things and listen to each injector as my soon punched the gas. See if there is any difference.

2001 grand marquis gs 110k miles. 4.6L

Is it a natural gas vehicle? That code comes up as Natural Gas Fuel Temperature Sensor “A” signal outside the expected range of 0.2 to 4.8
volts.

There's not a engine fuel temp sensor on a Merc is there?

It's a regular gasoline engine.

I don't think there is a fuel temperature sensor. I also read that this code could also mean lean fuel rear right ho2s.

Which one is #2 cylinder? Passenger side second one back?

That's the one. Passengers side 2nd one from the front.

It was a small crack in the boot. I was about to replace the injectors.

I figured I would slowly look over the coil boots and sure enough, one had a tiny slit/tear and that is all that it took.

Nice to have that new car feeling again!
