confused Clicking when I rev

I noticed it a couple of days ago and thought it might be a wheel, then thought maybe transmission, so I said 'well I should figure this out'.

When I rev the engine the hose coming from my radiator into the engine shimmies and goes "click-click" really fast, usually only once or twice. I can hear it ever so slightly inside the car and feel it in the floor if Im paying attention. It also does it when I squeeze the tube coming from the radiator, or hit it, or basically anything to change the pressure inside the tube.

It only does it at higher rpm's. Whats the deal? What should I have looked at? Any ideas on how serious this is?

Thanks for any help.

Re: Clicking when I rev

The hose in question is the right most black hose, and the clicking is coming from the silver fitting that it goes into on the engine.

Re: Clicking when I rev

alrighty (sorry for the quadrupal post).

Turns out it was a thermostat problem, the valve had broken and it was slamming open and shut, replaced it, and now everything is back to normal.

Glad too, though it was the water pump and I was worried I was going to have to replace it, significantly less of a pain in the ass to replace the thermostat haha.
