Climate control and turn single trouble help please

Here it is
I have a 98 grand Marquis with 90,000 mile the car has been perfect up until now. The problem is the heater system and A/C and turn singles are not working when the the car is running or driving, But when i use my auto start system every thing works fine until i put my foot on the break to disengage the system. I noticed that it was acting up over the past few days it would work for a while then just shut off while driving and now it won't work at all unless it's only in the auto start mode. I can still put the key in the ignition and turn the key to the notch just before the starter engages and everything still works until i put my foot on the break pedal, then it shuts off. I have checked all fuses and have even taken all three fuses out of the auto start system to see if that helped and had no luck. I even took it back to the place where i had the auto starter installed and had them check it out and they could not figure it out either. I was going to take it to the ford dealer to have them look at it on Monday, but i just thought someone else may know what the problem is before i waste hundreds of dollars.
Thanks for any help

Re: Climate control and turn single trouble help please

By the way the auto start system has been installed since last year with no problems with the climate control system not working or the turn singles, so it's been on there for at least 10 months.

I would guess that it's the Auto Start system. Call the place that installed it and tell them whats happening. If you have a manual or information on it, you could try rmoving the fuse to it and see if it helps. You'd still have to have that repaired.

Re: Climate control and turn single trouble help please

You have a fault in the original wiring - the remote start system is "bypassing" that fault, allowing them to work when the starter is active. Touching the brake pedal deactivates it, which is why they go dead.

But the fault is probably due to improper installation of the system, so if that's what Ford finds, have them take pics & then send the bill (plus some $ for your inconvenience) to the installer.

BTW
The word is "signal".
