Recently I posted on this site that I had a new clutch fan installed in my 1995 Grand Marquis on the advice of the garage where my car was serviced. After the installation, the car was very noisy. The next time I took it to this garage I pointed that out and was told that it was supposed to be that way.........well I am now having my car serviced at another garage. Recently when I went there for an oil change I pointed out to the owner to check the loudness of the engine since I had this clutch fan installed. When I picked up the car he agreed that the car was noisy and that it was because an aftermarket clutch fan was installed. I had them put in a genuine Ford clutch fan the difference in my car is like day and night, it is very quiet. I will be certain from now on to insist that only genuine Ford parts be used in my vehicle.
