Hello all


I went out for breakfast last Sat. and came home with a 2007 Crown Vic PI - My wife was less than impressed (but that is another story)

Anyways, the dealer tried to activate controls for a FORD keyless Fob but was not able to do it - Can this be done of a CVPI?
- I have heard that it is the nature of the CVPI, that the keyless feature(s) have been disabled - is it possible to get this to work??


Also, I noticed the ign. has to be on, or in accy. mode for the center button and door button for the trunk release to work - is this another "security" featue?


Last question for now - Is there a label of way to tell ALL the equipment (options) my car has on it?

...still on my first tank of gas, I cannot believe I found a 2007 CVPI on a lot w/ ~20 mi. on it

Comfort & convenience pkg. 41A
- AM/FM/Single CD, Cruise Ctrl., and Pwr. Driver's seat.
Street Appearance Pkge. 60B
- Chromed Grille, Fascia inserts, door handle bezels, color keyed Body side moldings, CV badge, full wheel covers, rear applique' w/ color keyed panels.


Plus all the rest of the updates and additions for the 2007 model year

the factory doesnt hot wire the auto truck release any more but it can be fixed to work that way.
