Radiator fan on 2003 Crown Vic was replaced 3 weeks ago as it would not turn off. Bought an aftermarket fan on web. Now, same thing is happening. Car is not over heating, but fan just runs. Is there something I should try?
There isn't a seperate relay on this particular year. The PCM controls it, it appears to be applying a seperate power or ground to the fan besides the B+ power and ground for the fan. The circuit is called Fan Control- Variable so it must be pulsing a seperate power or ground to control the fan speed.
