Hello all.. I tried looking this up on google and here and didn't find anything. I have a '99 grand marquis, 133k miles. the cruise control doesn't work, as of 2 days ago (on a long trip of course!). I tried finding a fuse or relay for it and found nothing. Anyone have some ideas on where to start to diagnose the problem? Any suggestions would be great!

Dheck fuse #5 in the under hood fuse box, fuses #1 #6 under the dash. Also, make sure the stop light switch is working properly.

I checked the fuses and are ok...I am going to change out the stop light switch and see what that does

Hi,
I really love my car, but it doesn't have cruise control nor a car starter. Would it be possible to install these two things (especially the cruise control) on my 2000 Hyundai Accent? It doesn't have an option for cruise control from the factory, as far as I know.

I checked the stop light switch and the other other switch at the brake pedal and still no go. Would a ford shop manual show how to diagnose the problem??

A Ford mnual would help. You could also check the library and see if they have a Haybes or Chilton manual. They may help too.
