Howdy,
I tried searching the forum but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I hope I'm not rehashing old news, but I got a recall notice from Ford regarding the cruise control problem. They want me to bring the car in to disable the CC until they get the parts to fix the problem. Does anyone know what they do to disable the CC? Is it simply a fuse or relay removal or more complicated?

Also, I would like to find a FSM for the GM/CV. Any ideas? I have a couple of repair manuals, i.e. Mitchel and one other one and the old standby Haynes, but they don't help me understand the car and component operations, only how to fix something if you know whats broken. lol Thanks.

Can't tell you much about the cruise control, but if you're looking for Ford bibles, your best bet is probably gonna be eBay. Should be fairly common on there, and the prices should be a lot more reasonable than trying to buy 'em through Ford.
