dash removal
I have a rattle in the dash of my '05 CV Sport. The rattle comes from the center dash area, the hardest area to access, naturally. The rattle is about the same frequency of a pencil, if that makes sense. I have repeatedly checked under the hood, including the wiper cover and attending plastic, with no luck. Now it's time to tear the dash apart and I need help, please. The Sport has the center console, floor shifter and dash pod like the Merc Marauder, but without the gauges. I have had dashes out of my other CV's and GM's (blend doors!), but they were not equipped with center consoles. This sounds dumb, but I cannot find any attachment hardware to remove the center pod or console. Is anybody familiar with their removal?
