can anyone tell me what the difference between the 4.6 and the 4.6 police interceptor motor? i was wondering what modifications i could posibly do to my 92 CV LX for some more HP gains ect..... thanks for any info

There isn't any difference at all. The difference is in the fact that the police cars have dual exhaust and some slight differences in the computer settings. The engines are identical

thats wierd, mine must have been a police vehicle at some point, it has dual exhaust, couldn't tell you about the computer though. thanks for helping answer my question.

Well,the LX Vics had dual exhaust also. Does yours have the 140 speedo or 120. The police cars had 140,LX's had 120 and the standard had 85 mph on them.

i believe it has the 120, i'm metric so i have never paid much attention to mph lol, but using a conversion 120mph is close to 200 klm, so it's just the LX model then. apperently this car was a 2 tone color, it was repainted black by the people that did the movie 16 blocks with bruce willis in it. they took the car to new york for quite some time to use it in the movie, unfortunatly i can't find it in the movie, lol if anyone has seen it, you'll see there are alot of cars in it and fast moving pase as well, it came back with a broken windshield, but no one wanted to take responsibility for it, go figure, anyhow there some history behind my car anyhow.
