Dome light?

1997 Crown Vic, retired cop car. I have two functioning map lights in the center of the ceiling, but the big white light up by the rear view doesn't turn on in any circumstance, theres no switch on it or anything, Im just wondering how this light was used when it was functioning and if anyone knows how to get it working again haha.

Re: Dome light?

I hate to ask, but history tells me to. Have you checked the bulb or fuses??

Re: Dome light?

Is it a big, round, non-factory looking light? If so, change the battery in it. Some Cop cars had the famous "Touchlight" in the cars.

I never knew that. Seems like with all the stuff they put on the police cars, they would have a better set-up than that.

The factory dome lights were also disconnected on many cop cars.
