Hmm well Idk does anyone on this forum like to or at least attempt to drift their ford b-bodies? Id love to see some pics or vids of some crown vics gettin sideways. Unless I'm the only empty parking lot wreckless idiot lol.

I hope to have some pics of my car in action soon, but we'll see, it does have more of a tendancy to pull donuts than drift, much unlike the 4 cylinder S-10 lol

I did it with my 87 crown :) I figured out how yo use the tranny like a clutch :) Nuetral, rev to 5000 RPM, pop it in 1st and slide :) I like it in dirt more really, mud holes are fun too. Just need to clean it when I'm done :)

I like to drift with mine... But I dont use it "like a clutch"

And dont even tell me your trans is built to take it.

It has a 500HP shift kit with tempered tail shaft, strengthnd gears, 800 stall convert, and soon to be a drive shaft loop, I don't do it in excess (sorry if thats the wrong word). If I blow the trans I have another kit for it (cause I know I will one of these days).

Ooo. Ouch. Using it like a clutch? 5000 rpm will kill a clutch on a car that weights that much. Not good.

Oh crap, I did type 5000..... Sorry, my mistake, 3000-ish RPMs. 5000 on a 800 stall converter would destroy that. Sorry to grandmarquisgt aswell. Now to figure out why I typed 5000 :) Wishfull thinking?
