Is there a ecm that will fit a 2004 Crown Vic that does not have the PATS system on it ?
And if so, will it run the car "right" ?
I read in a Haynes manual that Police cars don't have the PATS system in there ecm

The PATS is only for starting and won't affect the running. What's wrong with the PATS on yours?

I don't know what's wrong. I let the car sit over the winter, the batt was low but still turned over. I installed a new battery. The theft light can on blinking fast. Now my car won't start.

Disconnect and reconnect the battery with the key out of the car and see if that does it.

if the theft light is flashing that means the key is not programmed or there's a problem with the transciever or wiring if you have multiple keys try another key and if theft light still flashing most likly keys need to be programmed and you will need two pats keys to program
